LED Cove Lighting
In good cove lighting you never see the lamp — only the light gliding down the wall.

Cove lighting moves illumination from fixtures into the architecture: indirect light gliding around the ceiling perimeter gives a room breadth and hotel-grade comfort. Quality hangs on three decisions: strip density (high LEDs-per-metre for a continuous line, not dots), colour temperature matched to the space (2700K living warmth, 4000K work clarity) and driver quality (a cheap driver means flicker and early failure).
EMC Decor engineers the cove together with the drywall detail: step depth is calculated from how far the light should wash down the wall, strips are mounted in aluminium profiles (heat dissipation doubles lifespan), and dimmers and scene switches are placed around how you actually live. The result isn't a film set — it's your own home, better lit every evening.

Why EMC Decor
A continuous line of light: high-density strip, no visible dots
Mounted in aluminium profile — heat dissipation, double lifespan
Quality drivers and dimmers: flicker-free, scene-controlled light
Cove depth calculated for the light wash — no glare

How long do LED strips last?
A quality strip in aluminium profile with a proper driver runs 8–10 years (50,000 hours) without light loss; a cheap strip mounted without profile yellows in 2. The difference is in the installation detail.
Colour-changing (RGB) or single colour?
For living spaces we recommend tunable white (2700–4000K CCT) — warmth follows the time of day and the home always looks natural. Keeping RGB to TV backlights and entertainment zones gives the most tasteful result.
If a strip fails, does the ceiling get demolished?
No — strips sit in the open cove and drivers behind access hatches; replacement is done without touching the ceiling.
Can a cove be added to an existing ceiling?
Yes — a perimeter cove can be added without redoing the ceiling; it's a 1–2 day job and the existing paint is only touched up around the new band.
