Exterior painting is building protection, not decoration: Istanbul's salt-laden humidity, algae growth on north faces and UV fading on south faces are three separate enemies. EMC Decor uses silicone-based systems that repel water yet breathe; cracks are repaired with elastic filler, algae zones washed with biocide, and absorbent surfaces balanced with façade primer.
Access is engineered to building height: scaffolding, suspended platforms or rope access. For building and complex managements we run the whole process, including resident notification letters; a weather-tracked schedule plans around rain-risk days and the programme is committed in the contract.

Properly prepared silicone façade paint holds its performance for 8–12 years; acrylic systems manage 5–7. The difference amortises the material premium several times over.
What season is right for façade painting?
It needs +5°C to +30°C, dry days with low wind — in Istanbul, April–June and September–November are ideal. We manage the schedule against the forecast.
How does the decision process work for an apartment building?
We prepare a presentation-ready quote file for management (scope, brands, colour options, schedule); after the owners' assembly approves, the contract is signed and colours confirmed on a sample panel.
Can you paint over external insulation?
Yes — rendered insulation façades are painted with flexible, vapour-permeable silicone paints; hard film-forming paints are avoided.
